Etoile to confirm quarter-final berth

Etoile du Sahel will be expected to confirm their place in the knockout stages of the 2019 Caf Confederations Cup when they host Salitas at Stade Olympique de Sousse in Sousse on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 15h00 CAT.

The Tunisian giants head into the fixture in second spot in Group B, two points adrift of local rivals and three-time CAFCC champions CS Sfaxien.

Sfaxien have already booked their place in the quarter-finals of this year's competition following a 2-1 win over Etoile last time out, and the Red & White will be expected to join their Tunisian counterparts in the knockout stages with either a draw or win this weekend.

The two-time champions have accumulated seven points from their allotted fixtures, having recorded back-to-back wins over Enugu Rangers following a slow start to the group stages.

Victory home and away to the Nigerian club puts Etoile in pole position to advance into the knockout stages as Enugu will need to beat Sfaxien at home and hope for a winless Salitas to do them a favour in Sousse.

Burkinabe outfit Salitas have recorded four draws and a loss from their five matches, and know that a loss for Enugu coupled with a win in Tunisia will see them advance alongside Sfaxien into the next round.
