Asante Kotoko will be aiming to add to ZESCO United's woes at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Sunday, as they set their sights on the knockout stages of this season Caf Confederations Cup.
Kick-off is at 18h00 CAT.
The Porcupines know that victory will be enough to see them progress, no matter the result in Omdurman between Nkana and Al-Hilal who currently occupy the top two places in Group C.
Their opponents, ZESCO, have already bowed out of this season's competition having failed to build on their opening day win. Team Ya Ziko slumped to a third loss in four matches, going down 3-0 away to Zambian rivals Nkana last weekend.
“Even the last game is also important," said Team Ya Ziko head coach George Lwandamina ahead of their clash against the Ghanaian giants.
"We have to protect the image of the country. I know it will not be an easy game at that stage.
"I am sure it will be very critical for the teams which have remained, us we are gone, but we will move on from whatever we have gotten and am sure we will be strong then.
"It is just a phase that we are passing through. It is not that we are not playing OK but we have just found ourselves in a situation where we are not able to defend well and we are not able to score," he concluded.
Kotoko beat their opponents 2-1 in the reverse fixture last month.
