Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has hailed Sadio Mane as the form man in Europe as the attacker continues to impress for the Reds.
The Senegal international scored the opener in Liverpool's 2-1 win over Fulham as the Merseyside club climbed back to the top of the English Premier League standings.
Mane has scored seven goals in his last five games across all competitions, 11 in his last 11 and 20 in all competitions.
The 26-year-old has hit form at just the right time for Liverpool amid teammate Mohamed Salah's dip in form. The current African Player of the Year has failed to find the back of the net in seven matches.
"This is not just the form man in the Premier League, this is the form man in Europe," said Carragher on co-commentary for Sky Sports.
"That's no penalties as well," Carragher added. "If you think of the top scorers in this league, Salah, Harry Kane and Aguero are taking penalties and he's right up there alongside them."
If you take penalties out of the occasion, Mane has scored the most goals in the Premier League this season with 17 in 29 appearances.
