Botswana will take on Angola in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification Group I match on Friday.

Kick-off is at 19h00 CAT.

The encounter is scheduled to be played at the Francistown Sports Complex in Botswana.

The Zebras succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Mauritania away in their previous Group I encounter which was played in November 2018.

The defeat saw Botswana remain fourth on the Group I standings with one point from five matches.

Botswana have already been eliminated and they will be keen to end their qualifying campaign with a victory at home.

Meanwhile, Angola secured a 2-1 win over Burkina Faso at home in their last Group I match which was played in November 2018.

As a result, Palancas Negras are placed second on the Group I table with nine points from five games.

Angola need to record a victory against Botswana in order to book their place in the AFCON finals.

Egyptian referee Amin Mohamed Omar will officiate at the game between Botswana and Angola.
