CAR look to upset Guinea

Central African Republic (CAR) will play host to Guinea in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification Group H match on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 16h00 CAT.

The game is set to be played at the Barthélemy Boganda Stadium in CAR.

The Wild Beasts drew 2-2 with Rwanda away in their last Group H encounter which was played in November 2018.

The draw saw CAR remain third on the Group H standings with five points from five matches.

CAR have already been eliminated and they will be keen to end their qualifying campaign with a win.

Meanwhile, Guinea drew 1-1 with Ivory Coast at home in their previous Group H match which was played in November 2018.

As a result, the National Elephants are placed at the top of the Group H table with 11 points from five games.

Guinea have already qualified for the finals and they will be eager to win the group by defeating CAR.

Match referee Juste Ephrem Zio, who hails from Burkina Faso, will be in charge of the game between CAR and Guinea.
