Libya will take on South Africa in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification Group E match on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 19h00 CAT.

The encounter is set to be played at the Stade Taieb Mhiri in Tunisia.

The Mediterran Knights thumped Seychelles 8-1 away in their previous Group E encounter which was played in November 2018.

The win saw Libya remain third on the Group E standings with seven points from five matches.

Libya will be keen to end their qualifying campaign with a victory which would see them book their place in the finals.

Meanwhile, South Africa drew 1-1 with Nigeria at home in their last Group E match which was played in November 2018.

As a result, Bafana Bafana are placed second on the Group E table with nine points from five games.

South Africa need to avoide a defeat against Libya in order to book their place in the AFCON finals.

Moroccan referee Noureddine El Jaafari will officiate at the game between Libya and South Africa.
