DR Congo will face off with Liberia in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification Group G match on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 19h00 CAT.

The encounter is scheduled to be played at the Stade des Martyrs in DR Congo.

The Leopards were held to a 1-1 draw by Congo-Brazzaville away in their previous Group G encounter which was played in November 2018.

The defeat saw DR Congo remain third on the Group G standings with six points from five matches.

DR Congo can still qualify if they defeat Liberia and the other result between Zimbabwe and Congo-Brazzaville goes their way.

Meanwhile, Liberia secured a 1-0 win against Zimbabwe at home in their last Group G match which was played in November 2018.

As a result, Lone Stars are placed second on the Group G table with seven points from five games.

Liberia also need to record a victory against DR Congo in order to book their place in the AFCON finals.

Match referee Maguette N'Diaye, who hails from Senegal will officiate the game between DR Congo and Liberia.
