Mohamed Salah returned to training at Liverpool's training ground, Melwood, on Tuesday ahead of the club's English Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur this coming weekend.
The 26-year-old was left out of Egypt's squad for matches against Niger and Nigeria this month in order to enjoy some well deserved rest.
Jurgen Klopp will be hoping that the break works a treat as Salah aims to rediscover his scoring form. The forward headed into the international break having failed to score in his last seven matches for the Reds.
“He always played pretty much all games, everywhere for country, for us and all that stuff, so it was really important [he could have a break],” Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com.
“Now he will be here, a full week to prepare for the rest of the season, so that’s cool. I spoke to him, he looked really relaxed and in a good mood. Now, let’s go.”
Liverpool kick-off a crucial run of fixtures at home to Spurs before a two-legged showdown against Porto in the Uefa Champions League quarter-finals next month.
