CS Constantine will play host to Esperance de Tunis in a Caf Champions League first-leg quarter-final clash at Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui in Constantine on Saturday evening.

Kick-off is at 21h00 CAT.

The Algerian's, who have been somewhat of a surprise package in this year's competition, booked their place in the last eight as Group C runners-up behind Democratic Republic of Congo heavyweights, TP Mazembe.

Constantine finished level on 10 points with Tunisia's Club Africain, but advanced due to a superior head-to-head record.

They will now be aiming to make an unprecedented step into the semi-finals of Africa's premier cup competition, but lying in their way is the defending CafCL champions.

Espérance claimed an historic third Champions League crown with victory over Al Ahly in last year's final.

The Tunisian giants kept up their momentum on the African continent by finishing atop Group B without losing a game in their six matches.

The second-leg will take place in Rades on the 13th of April.
