Polokwane City and Black Leopards will meet for an Absa Premiership Limpopo derby at Peter Mokaba Stadium on 7 April 2019, kick-off at 15h00.

Polokwane extended their unbeaten run in the league to six matches with a 0-0 draw away to Cape Town City on March 15. The team clad in orange have lost just once in their last 12 league outings.

Rise and Shine have claimed 19 points from 12 home matches this season, with their last result as hosts a 2-0 win over Golden Arrows in early March.

Leopards broke a five-game winless streak when they came from two goals down to defeat Chippa United 3-2 at home on March 10. Mwape Musonda scored a hat-trick to go well clear at the top of the scoring charts.

Lidoda Duvha have claimed just seven points from 11 away matches this season, with their last result on the road a 2-2 draw at Free State Stars in early March.

In head-to-head stats, Polokwane and Leopards have met in just one previous top-flight match. That encounter took place earlier this season, at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in August 2018, and saw Lidoda Duvha claim a 1-0 win thanks to a goal from Karabo Tshepe.
