According to reports, Al Ahly have moved their Caf Champions League quarterfinal second-leg match against Mamelodi Sundowns back to Alexandria.

The clash was originally scheduled to take place at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria before being temporally moved to the Egyptian Army Stadium in Suez. The match, though, will now take place at the Mediterranean port city.

The eight-time champions face the almost impossible task of overturning a 5-0 deficit in the second-leg.

Goals from Themba Zwane, Wayne Arendse, Ricardo Nascimento, Gaston Sirino and Phakamani Mahlambi guided the South African champions to a blowout victory in the reverse fixture, and Pitso Mosimane's men will be expected to complete the job in Egypt.

The change in venue for the reverse fixture is reportedly due to the worse pitch conditions in Suez as apposed to Alexandria.

Moreover, the Red Devils have lowered ticket prices in an attempt to further enhance their chances of an unlikely turnaround, that would duly book their spot in the final four.
