Petrojet winger Chris Gadi has revealed that he has dreams of playing for the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The 27-year-old player was born in France to parents of DR Congolese descent and he has represented the European country at youth level.
Gadi is currently on the books of Petrojet, who are currently campaigning in the Egyptian Premier League.
The Olympique Marseille academy product, who has played in Bulgaria and Portugal, spoke t an Egyptian sports website, King Fut.
"In (my) youth, I had some keys when the coach was Claude Leroy, (but) since (then) I do not have anything. I hope one day I will be called (up)," Gadi said.
"This is something that interests me greatly. No matter the problems that we can hear being international it must be pride, it is a huge added value.
“My closest dream is to be called in Congo selection. (I will) continue to play football as long as possible and then we will see what will happen.”
Gadi is still eligible to play for DR Congo despite having played for France's under-17 and under-18 national teams.
