Three CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final second-leg matches took place on Sunday, April 14 and RS Berkane, Zamalek, and CS Sfaxien all advanced to the semi-finals.
The first match of the day was between Tunisian giants CS Sfaxien and Zambian outfit Nkana in an encounter which was played at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri.
Firas Chaouat and Alaeddine Marzouki both netted as the hosts defeated Nkana 2-0 and Sfaxien advanced to the next round after winning the tie 3-2 on aggregate.
Meanwhile, Egyptian football powerhouse Zamalek played host to Moroccan side Hassania Agadir at the Egyptian Army Stadium.
A second-half goal from Ibrahim Hassan helped the home side beat Hassania 1-0 and Zamalek secured their place in the last four after the winning tie 1-0 on aggregate.
Lastly, Kenyan champions Gor Mahia travelled to the Stade Municipal de Berkane where they were scheduled to face RS Berkane.
Goals from Kodjo Laba, Mohammed Aziz, Bakr El Helali, Issoufou Dayo and Youssef Essaiydy inspired the hosts to a 5-1 win over Gor Mahia and Berkane reached the semi-finals after winning the tie 7-1 on aggregate.
The second-leg clash between Sudanese side Al Hilal and Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel was postponed indefinitely due to the current security situation in Sudan.
Sfaxien will now take on Berkane in the two-legged semi-finals, while Zamalek are expected to lock horns with the winner between Al Hilal and Etoile, who are leading 3-1 on aggregate.
