Hassania Agadir head coach Miguel Gamondi criticised the match official following his team's elimination from this season's Caf Confederations Cup on Sunday.
The Moroccan club crashed out of the continental competition following a 1-0 defeat away to Zamalek at the Suez Stadium, with Ibrahim Hassan netting the only goal in the quarterfinal showdown over two legs.
Both teams were denied goals by Angolan referee, Hidler Martinez, in the second leg with HUSA particularly angered after the match official ruled out that their attempt - claiming that the ball hadn't crossed the line in it's entirety.
“I know that referee well because he officiated a game for us before. We can say that he was a player for Zamalek today; however, this doesn’t take anything from Zamalek, who were very strong,” Gamondi said in the aftermath.
“I am very disappointed with our elimination from the competition; yet, I am very proud with my players. We have a very good team and we created many chances in the game.
“If we had had the ability to finish those chances we had, we could have had qualified to the next round,” the Argentine concluded.
