The future of Senegal striker Oumar Niasse remains unclear, though he has at least confirmed that he will hold talks with parent club Everton at end of the season.
The 28-year-old Dakar-born forward is currently on loan at Cardiff City, having transferred away from Goodison Park in January after being deemed surplus to requirements.
Niasse, who has a contract to the end of June 2020 with Everton, has seen little playing time for the Merseyside team since his arrival from Spartak Moscow in 2016.
“I’m still an Everton player – I’m just on loan [at Cardiff],” Niasse told Star Sport.
“But my future we’re going to decide at the end of the season. The end of the season is just six games to go and at the end of the season I’m going to have one year left with Everton.
“I will see openly what exactly the (club) is going to give to me.”
Adding further to this story is the rumour that Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas is looking at brining Niasse to Istanbul ahead of next season.
According to Aksam, club president Fikret Orman has identified Niasse as a potential transfer target as they look to boost their attacking options.
