Asante Kotoko captain Amos Frimpong has revealed why they are keen to win the ongoing Special Competition.
The Porcupine Warriors have performed well in the Normalisation Committee'a Special Competition thus far having registered three wins, one defeat and one draw.
As a result, the Ghanaian giants are sitting at the top of the Zone A standings.
Frimpong says they are keen to qualify for continental tournament having participated in the CAF Confederation Cup this season.
“Our target, as a playing body, is to work very hard to win the competition," he told Graphic Online.
"We, as players, want to represent Ghana in Africa next season and we are focused on achieving our aim."
Kotoko failed to reach the group stage of the Confederation Cup.
