AmaZulu will look to end their winless run in the Absa Premiership when they host SuperSport United at King Zwelithini Stadium on 24 April 2019, kick-off at 19h30.

AmaZulu have gone three league matched without a win, though they at least avoided a hat-trick of losses by holding Durban rivals Golden Arrows 1-1 away from home on April 14.

Usuthu have claimed 23 points from 13 home matches this season, with their last result as hosts a 1-0 loss at the hands of Chippa United in early April.

SuperSport extended their unbeaten run in the league to five matches with a 2-0 away win over Tshwane rivals Mamelodi Sundowns, thanks to goals from Grant Kekana and Ghampani Lungu.

Matsatsantsa have claimed 19 points from 13 away matches this season. Their last three games on the road have all ended in victory.

In head-to-head stats, SuperSport and AmaZulu have met in 43 league matches since 1990. Matsatsantsa have claimed 20 wins compared to 14 for Usuthu, while nine matches have been drawn. The Durban side has won 10 of their 22 home league matches against the Tshwane club, suffering seven defeats in the process.

When the teams met earlier this season, at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in August 2018, SuperSport claimed a 1-0 home win thanks to a goal from Evans Rusike.

AmaZulu’s line-up from their 1-1 draw with Arrows on April 14: Mbatha, Sikhakhane, Mabiliso, Ouro-Akoriko, Van Heerden, Morton, Ncube (Nomvethe 78'), Maduna (Chawapiwa 86'), Sithebe, Karuru (Ntsundwana 84'), Ntuli.

SuperSport’s line-up from their 2-0 win over Sundowns on April 17: Williams, Nhlapo, Kekana, Daniels, Bhasera, Furman, Mokoena (Webber 76'), Modiba (Khumalo 90'), Lebese (Lungu 65'), Macuphu, Grobler.
