Baroka to keep on fighting

Baroka FC will continue their fight against relegation from the Absa Premiership when they host AmaZulu at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on 28 April 2019, kick-off at 15h00.

Baroka recorded their 10th draw of the league season when they held Free State Stars 2-2 away from home on April 24. The Limpopo side twice fought back from a goal down at Goble Park.

Bakgaga have claimed nine points from 13 home matches this season, with their last result as hosts a 2-1 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns on April 20.

AmaZulu ended a three-game winless streak by defeating SuperSport United 2-0 at home on April 24, courtesy of goals from Bonginkosi Ntuli and Somila Ntsundwana.

Usuthu have claimed 10 points from 13 away matches this season, with their last result on the road a 1-1 draw at derby rivals Golden Arrows in mid-April.

In head-to-head stats, Baroka and AmaZulu have met in three league matches since 2017/18. Both clubs have managed a win apiece, while one game was drawn. When the teams met earlier this season, at King Zwelithini Stadium in August 2018, AmaZulu claimed a 1-0 home win thanks to a goal from Siyethemba Sithebe.
