Polokwane City will face a Chippa United side desperately fighting for their Absa Premiership lives at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on 4 May 2019, kick-off at 15h00.
Polokwane racked up an 11th win of the season when they defeated Highlands Park 2-0 away from home on April 27, thanks to goals from Walter Musona and Puleng Tlolane.
Rise and Shine have claimed 22 points from 14 home matches this season, with their last result as hosts a 2-1 loss to 10-man Bloemfontein Celtic on April 24.
Chippa suffered a third successive defeat when they were beaten 2-0 at home by Cape Town City on April 26. The Eastern Cape side has won just once in their last eight league outings.
The Chilli Boys have claimed 11 points from 14 away matches this season, with their last result on the road a 3-2 loss at Mamelodi Sundowns on April 23.
In head-to-head stats, Chippa and Polokwane have met in nine league matches since 2014/15. Rise and Shine have claimed four wins compared to one for the Chilli Boys, while four matches have been drawn. The Limpopo side boasts an unbeaten home record in the rivalry, with three wins and a draw from four matches.
When the teams met earlier this season, at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in December 2018, they played out a 2-2 draw: Rhulani Manzini and Mark Mayambela twice equalised for Chippa after Polokwane led through goals from Ayanda Nkili and Rodney Ramagalela.
