Mohamed Salah will play no part in Liverpool's Uefa Champions League second-leg semifinal clash against Barcelona on Tuesday evening, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed.
The Egypt international was forced from the field midway through the second-half of the Reds' 3-2 win over Newcastle United this past weekend following a collision with the Magpies goalkeeper.
The head injury sustained by the 26-year-old duly rules him out of the club's crunch European clash at Anfield, while he could also miss the club's final English Premier League game of the season at home to Wolves this coming weekend.
Salah has scored 26 goals and assisted a further 13 in 50 appearances across all competitions for Liverpool this season.
Liverpool will also be without Roberto Firmino due to the muscular injury he sustained in training last week.
The duo join Guinea international Naby Keita on the sidelines. The midfielder suffered an abductor injury during the club's 3-0 loss at the Camp Nou last week.
