French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly opened negotiations with Nicolas Pepe in an aim to sign the Lille winger ahead of the 2019-20 season.

According to Yahoo Sport, PSG are willing to pay their French rivals €50 million with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United also said to be interested in landing the Ivory Coast international.

Pepe has been one of Europe's breakthrough players this season, having netted 21 goals and assisted a further 12 in 38 games across all competitions.

The 23-year-old, who was born in France, is now set to star for the Ivory Coast at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The Elephants have been drawn in a group alongside Morocco, South African and Namibia.
