Kaizer Chiefs will square off TS Galaxy in the 2019 Nedbank Cup final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 19h00 CAT.

Amakhosi eased into the South African FA Cup final after defeating their Premier Soccer League (PSL) rivals Chippa United 4-2 semi-finals.

The Soweto giants are coached by German tactician Ernst Middendorp, who was appointed midway through the current season.

Middendorp is in his second spell as Chiefs coach having guided the team to the Absa Cup and SAA Top 8 Cup in his first stint with the club.

Amakhosi will look to their Zimbabwean attacker Khama Billiat, who has scored twice in this season's Nedbank Cup.

Chiefs are the most decorated club in the history of the tournament with 13 titles.

Meanwhile, Galaxy secured their place in the final after defeating PSL side Lamintville Golden Arrows 3-1 in the semi-finals.

The National First Division (NFD) side has been the surprise package of the tournament under the guidance of coach Dan Malesela.

The local tactician is looking to win his maiden major trophy as a professional coach.

Promising striker Zakhele Lepasa, who has netted three times in this season's Nedbank Cup, is the dangerman for Galaxy.

Galaxy are hoping to become the first NFD team to win the Nedbank Cup.

This will be the first-ever meeting between Chiefs and Galaxy.
