Kenya are busy with their preparations for the upcoming 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals.

The Harambee Stars held their second training session this week on Tuesday as preparations for the team’s camp in France hit top gear.

Twenty-seven players took part in the session with coach Sebastien Migne noting that it is a positive ingredient to his AFCON and Africa Nations Championships preparations.

“I am happy with the turnout. I have had a chance to assess most of the players in the CHAN squad, which is a positive step in our preparations,” said coach Migne.

The France-bound team is scheduled to jet out to Paris, on Friday, May 31, 2019.

They are already been booked at the French Rugby Federation, Marcoussis Cedex, where they will hold a 19-day residential camp before flying out to Cairo Egypt, on June 19, 2019.

Football Kenya Federation has also lined up two friendly matches, against Madagascar on June 7, in Paris and the Democratic Republic of Congo a week later, on June 15, 2019, in Madrid, Spain.

Kenya are in Group C along with Algeria, Senegal and Tanzania. The tournament will be hosted by Egypt between June 21 and July 19.
