Zambia will kick-off their 2019 Cosafa Cup campaign against Malawi at Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu on Sunday afternoon.
The quarterfinal clash gets underway at 17h30 CAT.
Malawi set up a showdown against the four-time champions after finishing atop Group B. The Flames conjured seven points from their allotted fixtures, with two wins and a draw.
Successive wins over Seychelles and Namibia was followed by a 1-1 stalemate against Mozambique.
Chipolopolo head into this year's showpiece eager to go a step further than their runners-up finish at the last two tournaments. Zambia lost to neighbours Zimbabwe on both occasions.
With the likes of Lazarous Kambole at their disposal, Zambia will be confident of their chances as they seek Cosafa Cup success for the first time since winning the title on home soil six years ago.
Malawi's best showing at the Southern African tournament came in back-to-back tournaments in 2002 and 2003; finishing as losing finalists on both occasions.
The winner will face Lesotho for a place in this year's final.
