Zambia will be hoping to end their losing streak against Zimbabwe when the two nations lock horns in a 2019 Cosafa Cup semifinal clash at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Wednesday evening.
Kick-off is at 19h30 CAT.
Chipolopolo lost to their Southern African rivals in the final of the past two tournaments; going down 3-1 in Phokeng and 4-2 in Polokwane at the 2017 and 2018 Cosafa Cup tournaments respectively.
Zambia, four-time champions of the competition, last won the tournament on home soil six years ago after beating the very same opponents.
Zimbabwe, though, have gained more joy out of this rivalry of late as they set their sights on a third successive Cosafa Cup title and a sixth overall.
The two nations booked their place in the semifinals with wins over Malawi and Comoros respectively.
Zambia recovered from a two goal deficit to take the game to a penalty shoot-out where they ultimately came out on top. In contrast, The Warriors eased into the final four with a 2-0 win over Comoros thanks to goals from Evans Rusike and Khama Billiat.
The winner will face either Lesotho or Botswana in Saturday's final.
