Feghouli: Desert Foxes keen to make Algerians proud

Algeria international Sofiane Feghouli says the team is ready for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals.The Desert Foxes are determined to make Algerians 'proud of their national team' according to the Galatasaray attacking midfielder.
Feghouli, who recently helped Galatasaray win the 2018/19 Turkish Super Lig title, is looking forward to the 2019 AFCON finals.
"We will do our best to make all the Algerians proud in the Nations Cup," Feghouli told Algerian newspaper Al-Chourouq.
"Many things happened in 2017 but that is a past now. We are focusing on this Nations Cup and we are determined to make all Algerians happy.
"I'm sure that the team will be ready and will appear in a good shape at the tournament," he added.
Algeria are Group C along with Senegal, Tanzania and Kenya.
The Desert Foxes are hoping to win the AFCON title for the first time since 1990.
Egypt will host the 2019 AFCON finals between June 21 and July 19.
