Togo international Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba has joined United Arab Emirates giants Al Ain FC on a free transfer.
The 27-year-old, who was on the radar of several African clubs including Egyptian giants Al Ahly and Zamalek, joins Al-Ain after deciding not to sign an extension with Morocco's RS Berkane at the end of last season.
Laba scored 18 goals in 18 league games for the Moroccan club last season, while also ending the 2018-19 Caf Confederations Cup campaign as the tournament's top scorer with eight goals.
The forward netted in the first-leg of the final, but Berkane ultimately suffered a penalty shoot-out defeat to Zamalek.
Laba, who also attracted reported interest from South Africa, joins fellow African and Algeria international Abderrahmane Meziane Bentahar at Al-Ain.
Al-Ain finished this past season in fourth place, 13 points behind the eventual champions.
