Algeria head coach Djamel Belmadi says his side is ready to compete with Senegal and Morocco for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title.
The Desert Foxes are hoping to go all the way and clinch their first continental title since 1990.
"We are not the only side who are chasing the title," Belmadi told Algerian newspaper El-Heddaf.
"There are other sides who are also targeting the title such as Senegal and Morocco.
"Senegal have almost kept their team unchanged in three years. The same applies to Morocco, who played with the same players under the guidance of coach Herve Renard for long time, which is not our case."
Belmadi has made it clear that his side will fight for the most coveted trophy on the African continent.
"It is true that Morocco and Senegal have a good advantage but we are ready for all challenges," he added.
"The players are well prepared for the Nations Cup and they worked hard and they have the desire to go far in the competition and fight for the title."
Algeria find themselves in Group C with Senegal, Kenya and Tanzania.
Egypt will host the tournament between June 21 and July 19.
