Egypt national team manager Javier Aguirre says he has settled on a line-up for his team’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations opening match.
The Pharaohs will open the tournament will a Group A clash against Zimbabwe in Cairo on Friday night.
Aguirre saw his side defeat Guinea 3-1 in their final warm-up friendly on Sunday night, having also edged Tanzania 1-0 last Thursday.
"The Tanzania and Guinea tests are sufficient preparation for the tournament," Aguirre told the media in the wake of the win over the Syli Nationale.
"We had 19 chances to score against Tanzania and we also created many chances during the Guinea match.
"The two matches proved beneficial for the team as we were able to test players in different positions, which has satisfied the technical staff.
“I am settled on the line-up that will play Friday's opener against Zimbabwe."
Following the game against Zimbabwe on June 21, Egypt will also face DR Congo on June 26 and Uganda on June 30 in their remaining Group A matches.
