Senegal will clash with Algeria in their second 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group C match on Thursday.

Kick-off is at 19h00 CAT.

The match is scheduled to take place at the 30 June Stadium in the Egyptian city of Cairo.

The Lions of Teranga recorded a 2-0 win over Tanzania thanks to two goals from Keita Balde Diao and Krepin Diatta in their first match on Sunday.

AS Monaco forward Keita will be hoping to find the back of the net again and help his side overcome Algeria.

Senegal head coach Aliou Cisse is expected to guide the Lions of Teranga to the AFCON title this year and he will be keen to mastermind a win over Algeria.

Meanwhile, Algeria registered a 2-0 victory over Kenya courtesy of two goals from Baghdad Bounedjah and Riyad Mahrez in their maiden game on Sunday.

Al Sadd striker Bounedjah will be looking to score again and inspire his nation to secure a victory over Senegal.

Algeria head coach Djamal Belmadi is looking to ensure that his side mounts a serious challenge for the AFCON title and also secure a win against the Lions of Teranga.

This will be the 19th clash between Senegal and Algeria

Algeria have registered 10 wins compared to Senegal's four victories, while four matches ended in a stalemate.
