South Africa are set to face Namibia in their second 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group D match on Friday.

Kick-off is at 22h00 CAT.

The game will take place at the Al Salam Stadium in the Egyptian city of Cairo.

Bafana Bafana suffered a 1-0 defeat to Ivory Coast in their first group match which was played in Cairo on Monday.

Mamelodi Sundowns winger Themba Zwane is one of Bafana's key attackers and he will be keen to help his side record their first win.

South Africa head coach Stuart Baxter will be under pressure to guide the 1996 AFCON champions to victory against Namibia.

Meanwhile, Namibia also succumbed to a 1-0 defeat to Morocco in their maiden group match which was played on Sunday.

Bidvest Wits winger Deon Hotto is one of the Brave Warriors' best players and he will look to inspire his nation to a historic victory.

Namibia head coach Ricardo Mannetti will be eager to make history by leading the Brave Warriors to their first-ever win at the AFCON finals.

This will be the ninth encounter between South Africa and Namibia.

Bafana Bafana have recorded five wins compared to the Brave Warriors' one victory, while two games ended in a draw.
