Burundi will square off with Guinea in their final 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group B match on Sunday. Kick-off is at 18h00 CAT.

The encounter is scheduled to be played at the Al Salam in the Egyptian city of Cairo.

The Swallows succumbed to a 1-0 defeat to Madagascar in their second group match which was played in Alexandria on Thursday.

Burundi can only advance to the knockout stages if they overcome Madagascar and the results in other groups go their way.

Olivier Niyungeko, the Burundi head coach, will be looking to guide the Swallows to a big win over Guinea.

Meanwhile, Guinea were defeated 1-0 to Nigeria in their second group match which was played in Alexandria on Wednesday.

The National Elephants will progress to the round of 16 if they secure a victory against a wounded Burundi side.

Guinea head coach Paul Put will be hoping to lead his side to their first victory in Egypt against the Swallows.

This will be he first ever between Burundi and Guinea.
