Ivory Coast international Geoffroy Serey Die has disclosed that he is competing in his last Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals.

The experienced midfielder has helped the Elephants advance to the Round of 16 at the ongoing 2019 AFCON finals in Egypt.

Die produced a Man of the Match performance as Ivory Coast finished second in Group D after defeating Namibia 4-1 on Monday.

The 34-year-old reflected on the match which took place at the 30 June Stadium in the city of Cairo.

"I am very happy to have been chosen as the man of the match," Die said.

"We will now enjoy our victory and this qualification especially after the elimination in the first round in 2017.

"For my last AFCON, I hope to go as far as possible with this team."

Die, who is on the books of Swiss club Neuchâtel Xamax, was part of the Elephants team which won the 2015 AFCON title in Equatorial Guinea.
