Ghana head coach Kwesi Appiah feels that his side needs to improve after reaching the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Round of 16.
The Black Stars finished at the top of Group F after defeating Guinea-Bissau 2-0 at the Suez Stadium in Egypt on Tuesday.
Ghanaian tactician Appiah reflected on the four-time AFCON champions' important victory.
"I congratulate my players for achieving such a result," Appiah said.
"We started the game on a slow pace because we had to be patient without rushing.
The Black Stars have been criticized after recording one victory and two draws during their group stage campaign.
"It should also be noted that we adapt our game system according to the qualities and shortcomings of the opponent," he added.
"If we are to take criticism into account, we will stop playing football.
"We are working to improve and I am doing my best to win the matches."
Ghana will face Tunisia in the Round of 16 match at the Ismailia Stadium in Egypt on Monday.
