Arsenal have ramped up their bid to sign Ivory Coast international Wilfried Zaha.
According to the Sun, the Gunners have offered £40 million plus three players, including Egypt's Mohamed Elneny in exchange for the 26-year-old winger.
The Eagles are demanding £80 million for the Ivorian attack, who singed a 5-year contract to keep him at Selhurst Park until 2023 back in August last year.
Zaha scored 10 goals and assisted a further 10 in 36 games across all competitions last season, duly sparking interest from several English Premier League rivals.
In contrast, Arsenal midfielder Elneny featured a mere 17 times across all competitions as the Gunners notably reached the Europa League final in the 2018/19 campaign.
Both players were involved in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations hosted in Egypt with Zaha's Elephants falling to Algeria in the quarterfinals while the Pharaohs suffered a shock defeat to South Africa in the Round of 16.
