Ivory Coast international Jean Michael Seri has joined Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal.
The 28-year-old joined the Cottagers from French Ligue 1 club Nice just last year, but couldn’t help prevent the club from suffering relegation back to the English Championship.
Seri made 32 appearances for Fulham in a difficult 2018/19 season, having notably been linked with a move to Barcelona before eventually signing for the London club a few months after interest from Spain dwindled.
According to BBC Sport, Galatasaray will pay Fulham a loan fee of 1.5m euros with the option to make the move permanent for 18m euros next year.
Seri joins a strong contingent of African players at the Istanbul club with the likes of Henry Onyekuru, Sofiane Feghouli and Mbaye Diagne having played a key role in helping the club to league glory last season.
