Orlando Pirates head coach Milutin Sredojević has remained coy as to why Brilliant Khuzwayo will miss this weekend’s Carling Black Label Cup clash against Kaizer Chiefs.

The Buccaneers head into Saturday’s game hoping to break a two-game losing streak in the pre-season tournament, having lost in both the 2016 and 2017 editions.

Khuzwayo, though, will play no part despite receiving the most votes from fans and will duly be replaced by Wayne Sandilands between the posts.

The 29-year-old is yet to make his first team debut for Pirates since joining the club from Soweto rivals Kaizer Chiefs last year. Injury plagued his first season at the club, and it seems as if the same problems have persisted.

“Due to precautionary measures, we needed to put Brilliant out of contention, and I will limit myself there because, as a coach, I have no right to cross the line towards medical aspects,” Micho said as per KickOff.com.
