Kenya head coach Sebastien Migne expects his side to overcome Tanzania on Sunday.
The Harambee Stars are back in Kenya after drawing 0-0 with Tanzania in the first-leg of their Africa Nations Championships Qualifier last weekend.
The match played on Sunday now sets up an entertaining return match that has been slated for the MISC Kasarani on Sunday.
Migne expressed contentment with the result, promising an all-out approach in the second leg on Sunday.
“We were good defensively. We now have to work on building better link-up play offensively, and I am confident that we will have a good match on Sunday,” Migne said.
“A draw away from home was a good result for us. It was hard since most of the players were new at this stage, but they gave a good account of themselves.”
Team captain Dennis Odhiambo, meanwhile, called out on fans to turn up in large numbers for Sunday’s match.
“Fans’ support was very key for us in the run-up to our AFCON qualification. We need it likewise on Sunday, and I am confident that we will give them something to smile about,” he said.
