Egyptian giants Al Ahly have parted ways with winger Ahmed Hamoudi as they prepare for the new 2019/20 season.
The reigning Egypt Premier League champions have been busy offloading fringe players in pre-season.
Hamoudi joined Al Ahly from Saudi Arabian club Al-Batin in January 2017, but he failed to make an impact at the Cairo giants.
Al Ahly released the following statement:
“Hamoudi’s contract was terminated by mutual consent,” a statement read on Al Ahly’s official website.
Al Ahly have also released seven players including defender Mohamed Naguib, midfielder Amr Barakat and winger Islam Mohareb.
The trio have all joined El Gouna, who also purchased Ahmed Rayyan and Akram Tawfik from Al Ahly.
Furthermore, midfielder Nasser Maher and defender Ahmed Alaa have moved to Smouha and Talae El-Geish on loan deals respectively.
