Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville believes Mohamed Salah will leave Liverpool in the next 12 months.
Salah, 27, joined the Reds from AS Roma two years ago for a reported £34 million.
The Egypt international’s value has skyrocketed in his time at Anfield as he played a key role in helping the Merseyside outfit to back-to-back Uefa Champions League finals.
In total, Salah has scored an incredible 72 goals in 102 games for the club, including one in Liverpool’s 2-0 triumph over Tottenham Hotspur in last season’s UCL final in Madrid.
Speaking on Sky Bet’s Big Debate with former Reds defender Jamie Carragher, Neville underlined the importance of the next year for Liverpool as they aim to end their league drought.
“Salah’s going to leave in the next 12 months, I can see it already,” Neville said.
“He [Carragher] knows, he won’t say it. I can see it, you can feel it, you can smell it, you know when a player’s like…”
Salah, who is contracted to Liverpool until 2023, has in the past year been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
