Mamelodi Sundowns captain Hlompho Kekana believes that they have the experience to overturn the 2-1 first leg result against AS Otoho d’Oyo and win the tie.
The South African champions are set to host the Congolese side in the 2019/20 CAF Champions League preliminary round second-leg match on Saturday.
Kekana is set to miss the match after picking up a red card in the first-leg encounter which was played in Congo-Brazzaville.
“We have seen our opponents in Brazzaville and even with a man down, we managed to score an away goal,” Kekana told the CAF website.
“Now we will be at home with our fans behind us. I am confident that we will score a goal or two because we always score here. The main thing is to keep zero at the back.
“But Otoho will not be easy. They have a strong, competitive team that will want to be known by knocking out Sundowns,” he added.
“But that will not happen. We have been in this situation before and we will come out of it.”
The winner on aggregate between Sundowns and Otoho will face Comoros’ Fomboni or Seychelles champions Cote d’Or in the first round.
