The 2019/20 Absa Premiership action continued on Saturday with three matches taking place across South Africa.

Black Leopards recorded their first point of the season when they drew 1-1 with Highlands Park at the Thohoyandou Stadium.

The hosts conceded three minutes before half-time when Luckboy Mokoena beat Leopards goalkeeper Jonas Mendes.

Leopards were trailing 1-0 at the interval against Highlands Park.

Parity was restored six minutes after the restart when Elton Kapinga scored with a well-taken shot to make it 1-1 for Leopards.

The home side pushed for the equalizing goal, but Highlands Park stood firm at the back and ultimately, the match ended in a stalemate.

At the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium, Lamontville Golden Arrows secured their second win of the season when they secured a 2-1 win over Chippa United.

Nduduzi Sibiya opened the scoring to make it 1-0 to Arrows just after the half-hour mark, but Boikanyo Komane levelled matters for Chippa in the second-half.

Knox Mutizwa proved to be the hero for Arrows as he handed the hosts a 2-1 victory over Chippa on the day.

The last game of the day was between Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United at the FNB Stadium in the evening.

Chiefs took the lead through Samir Nurkovic 15 minutes into the encounter as the Serbian striker opened his scoring account for the season.

However, Bradley Grobler grabbed a late equalizing for SuperSport with his fourth goal in three matches to ensure that the game ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
