Several big-name African players will be in action in the English Premier League (EPL) on Saturday.

Ivorian winger Wilfried Zaha and Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew are expected to start for Crystal Palace against Aston Villa at Selhurst Park.

The duo played an important role in helping Palace stun Manchester United 2-1 at the Old Trafford Stadium last weekend.

While defending champions Manchester City, who have Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez on their books, will play host to Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Algeria captain will be keen to open his scoring account for the 2019/20 season when the two teams clash at the Etihad Stadium.

At the London Stadium, DR Congolese full-back Arthur Masuaku will be hoping to feature for West Ham United against Norwich.

Liverpool FC, who have two lethal African attackers on their books, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, will be away to Burnley at Turf Moor.

Senegal vice-captain Mane and Egyptian superstar Salah have already scored four league goals between them this season, and they will be looking to continue their good form.

Lastly, Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu will be keen to inspire Newcastle United to their second win of the season when they host Watford at the St James’ Park
