Sporting Lisbon are looking to sell their Angola international Bruno Gaspar with just days left to the end of the transfer window.

The Greek club Olympiakos, who are through the group phase of the UEFA Champions League, have made a 2-million Euro offer but it has been rejected because of a dispute between the two clubs over Portuguese striker Daniel Podence who moved in the same direction last season.

Sporting are seeking compensation from Olympiakos and taken the dispute to FIFA to resolve.

It means the 26-year-old Gaspar waits to see what other clubs might come his way as his chances at Sporting look slim.

The fullback has dropped down the pecking order at the Portuguese club and not played this year. He is the fourth option on the right hand side of defence behind Valentin Rosier, Stefan Ristovski and Thierry Correira and was again left out of the matchday squad for the weekend meeting with Rio Ave.

Gaspar was born in Portugal and is a former junior international but in March switched his international allegiance to Angola, where his father hails from.

He made his debut at the tournament and featured in all three games.
