Zakaria Benchaâ – USM Alger
The 22-year-old striker continued his great scoring form as he grabbed a brace to take his tally to four goals in the tournament
Benchaâ’s brace inspired the Algerian side to a 4-1 victory over Kenyan champions Gor Mahia in Blida on Sunday.
Mame Gueye – Generation Foot
The forward was the hero for the Senegalese champions as he netted twice to take his tally to three goals in the competition.
Gueye’s brace helped Generation overcome Egyptian giants Zamalek 2-1 in Thies on Saturday.
Tiyani Mabunda – Mamelodi Sundowns
The central midfielder produced an impressive display as the South African champions secured an away victory against Seychelles’ Cote d’Or.
Mabunda scored twice as Sundowns thumped a hapless Cote d’Or side 5-0 in Victoria on Saturday.
Mostafa Mohamed – Zamalek
The centre forward maintained his scoring form in the tournament as he netted once to take his tally to four goals.
Mohamed grabbed an important away goal during the Egyptian giants’ 2-1 defeat to Generation Foot in Senegal.
Hamza Banouh – JS Kabylie
The striker is another player, who is in good scoring form having grabbed a brace to take his tally to three goals in the tournament.
Banouh’s two goals helped the Algerian outfit record a 2-0 victory over Guinean champions Horoya in Tizi Ouzou on Saturday.
