Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has stated that his feud with teammate Mohamed Salah is something of the past.
Mane was visibly upset at his Reds attacking partner after being substituted during the club’s 3-0 win over Burnley last month, but seems all has been forgiven following the international break, which was quickly followed by another English Premier League win.
The Senegal international was outraged after the Egyptian forward chose to shoot rather than pass to him during the club’s win over Burnley on August 31.
Mane, though, has moved on from the moment, declaring to Canal+:
“With Salah? It’s forgotten
“Sometimes you have to say things face to face. These are things that happen in football, sometimes it happens that I am not given the pass.
“But we have reconciled and become the good friends we were before,” he concluded.
Mane scored a brace for Liverpool in a 3-1 win over Newcastle United at Anfield on Saturday while Salah chipped in with the other as the club made it five wins from five games to move five points clear atop the league standings.
