Samatta and Olayinka score as Koulibaly silences Mane in UCL

Mbwana Samata and Peter Olayinka both found the back of the net in Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League group stage matches.

Nigerian striker Olayinka opened the scoring as his Czech club Slavia Prague drew 1-1 with Italian giants Inter Milan in a Group F match at the San Siro.

At the Red Bull Arena, Tanzania captain Samatta scored a consolation goal for Belgian club Genk, who were thumped 6-2 by Austrian champions RB Salzburg in a Group E game.

Meanwhile, Moroccan defender Achraf Hakimi helped German giants Borussia Dortmund hold Spanish champions FC Barcelona to a 0-0 draw in a Group D match at the Signal Iduna Park.

His countryman, Hakim Ziyech was on the winning side as Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam thrashed a hapless Lille OSC side at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

The playmaker grabbed an assist in the second-half during the Group H encounter as Ajax defeated the French side 3-0.

Lastly, Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly helped Napoli SCC defeat the defending champions Liverpool FC, who had Senegal vice-captain Sadio Mane, Cameroonian defender Joel Matip and Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah on the pitch.

The Italian side secured a 2-0 victory over the English giants in a Group E match at the San Paolo.
