Several top African players are expected to play key roles for their clubs in big European leagues this weekend.
AfricanFootball.com takes a look at seven players, who are most likely to star for their teams:
Ansu Fati – FC Barcelona
The Guinea-Bissau attacker will be hoping to continue his great form in the Spanish La Liga when FC Barcelona take on Granada on Sunday having netted twice in the competition this season.
Sadio Mane – Liverpool FC
The Senegal vice-captain scored twice as Liverpool defeated Newcastle United in an English Premier League clash last weekend and he will be looking to maintain his scoring form against Chelsea FC on Sunday.
Riyad Mahrez – Manchester City
The Algerian winger is expected to start for City when they face Watford in an English Premier League match on Saturday after scoring in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.
M’Baye Niang – Rennes
The Senegalese centre forward is set to start for Rennes when they face Lille OSC in a French Ligue 1 match on Sunday after scoring in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday.
Idrissa Gueye – PSG
The Senegalese midfield maestro produced a magnificent display for PSG in the UEFA Champions League in midweek and he is expected to start against Lyon in the French Ligue 1 clash on Sunday.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – Arsenal
The Gabon captain cannot stop scoring for Arsenal and the London giants will be banking on his scoring form when they face Aston Villa in an English Premier League game on Sunday.
Kalidou Koulibaly – Napoli
The Senegalese central defender will be looking to ensure that Napoli keep their third successive clean sheet across all competitions when they lock horns with Lecce in an Italian Serie A match on Sunday.
