It is Sunday and we bring you an edition of Africa Stars Watch as we take a look at Africa’s finest players plying their trades in top European leagues.


Commentary:


15h00 – Wilfried Zaha (Ivory Coast), Jordan Ayew (Ghana) and Cheikhou Kouyate (Senegal) have just started for Crystal Palace against Wolverhampton Wanderers in an English Premier League clash.


In the Italian Serie A, Kalidou Koulibaly (Senegal) and Faouzi Ghoulam (Algeria) are both in action for Napoli against Lecce.


While M’Baye Niang (Senegal) is leading Rennes’ attack against Victor Osimhen (Nigeria)’s Lille in the French Ligue 1 clash.


15h10 – Wilfried Zaha (Ivory Coast) is looking lively for Palace as his dangerous is cleared the ball away to safety.


15h20 – Edouard Mendy (Senegal) is called into action and the Rennes goalkeeper makes a great save to deny the visitors, Lille.


15h30 – Faouzi Ghoulam (Algeria) has been booked, but his side, Napoli is leading 1-0 against Lecce with 30 minutes played.


15h40 – Jordan Ayew (Ghana) wins himself just enough space inside the box to connect with the corner, but his header flies towards the middle of the goal, but the goalkeeper blocks the effort and it remains 0-0 between Palace and Wolves.


15h50 – Victor Osimhen (Nigeria) gets to the rebound and shoots, but the effort is blocked and the first-half ends with Rennes, and Lille locked at 0-0.


16h00 – Kalidou Koulibaly (Senegal) and Faouzi Ghoulam (Algeria) have been solid at the back for Napoli, who are leading 2-0 at half-time.


16h10 – ASSIST! Victor Osimhen (Nigeria) grabs an assist as Lille open the scoring against Rennes in the second-half.


16h20 – Romain Saiss (Morocco) has been booked as Wolves look to level matters against Jordan Ayew (Ghana)’s Palace.


16h30 – Kalidou Koulibaly (Senegal) and Faouzi Ghoulam (Algeria), and their Napoli teammates, but they are now leading 3-1 with 20 minutes left.


ASSIST! Hamari Traore (Mali) grabs an assist as Rennes level matters against Lille to make it 1-1.


16h40 – RED CARD! Romain Saiss (Morocco) has been sent off after receiving his second yellow card with his side Wolves losing 1-0 to Palace.


16h50 – Kalidou Koulibaly (Senegal) and Faouzi Ghoulam (Algeria) played the entire match as Napoli thumped Lecce 4-1.


Jordan Ayew (Ghana)’s Crystal Palace were held to a 1-1 draw by Wolves, who were reduced to 10 players after Romain Saiss (Morocco) was sent off.


17h00 – Hamari Traore (Mali) played an important role in helping Rennes hold Lille to a 1-1 stalemate.
