Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi found the back of the net for Leicester City in a 5-0 win over Newcastle United at King Power Stadium. Victory moves the Foxes up to third on the log standings.


In Belgium, Pro League top scorer Dieumerci Mbokani found the back of the net for Antwerp in a 1-1 draw away to KV Oostende. The towering forward scored his seventh goal of the campaign before Fashion Sakala‘s leveller for the hosts.


Elsewhere, Mbokani’s Democratic of Republic teammate Paul-Jose M’Poku Ebunge scored a 90th minute equaliser for Standard Liege at home to Charleroi.


Tunisia’s Wahbi Khazri assisted Saint Etienne’s only goal in a much needed win away to Nimes in the French Ligue 1 while Guinea’s Bouna Sarr assisted Marseille’s equaliser in a 1-1 draw at home to Rennes.


It was a difficult day at the office for Algeria international and 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Player of the Tournament, Ismael Bennacer, as his AC Milan suffered a 3-1 loss to Fiorentina at the San Siro in the final Serie A match on Sunday evening.


In Turkey, Nigiera’s Anthony Nwakaeme found the back of the net for Trabzonspor in a 4-1 thumping of Besiktas, while Aatif Chahechouhe was on target for Antalyaspor.


In contrast, it was a difficult day for Ghana’s Bernard Mensah who was sent off as Kayserisport suffered a 2-1 Super Lig defeat away to Konyaspor.
